1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Roscripters ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part, you may not use our services. These terms apply to all visitors, registered users, and anyone who accesses or uses the Platform.

2. About Roscripters

Roscripters is an independent, community-driven platform for sharing, discovering, and discussing Lua scripts used within the Roblox gaming platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected to Roblox Corporation. Roblox® is a trademark of Roblox Corporation.

3. User Accounts

  • You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or the minimum age in your country, whichever is higher).
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You are fully responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information during registration. Fake accounts or impersonation will result in immediate termination.
  • One person may only maintain one account unless explicitly permitted by staff.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Roscripters to:

  • Browse, discover, and copy scripts shared by community members.
  • Upload your own original Lua scripts for the Roblox platform.
  • Comment, react to, and follow other creators.
  • Report scripts or users that violate these terms.

5. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Upload scripts that steal account credentials, inject malware, or otherwise harm other users' devices or Roblox accounts.
  • Upload scripts that access or exploit data without the user's knowledge or consent (e.g., remote spyware).
  • Claim authorship over scripts you did not write without crediting the original creator.
  • Use our platform to harass, threaten, or bully other users.
  • Post illegal content (e.g., CSAM, content that violates copyright law).
  • Artificially inflate views, likes, or download counts through bots or automation.
  • Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or disrupt our infrastructure.
  • Sell or transfer your Roscripters account to another party.
  • Use scripts posted here to exploit or harm other players in a way that violates Roblox's Terms of Use.

6. Script Content Policy

All scripts uploaded to Roscripters are subject to review. By submitting a script you confirm that:

  • You are the original author, or have explicit permission from the original author to re-distribute it.
  • The script does not contain hidden malicious code.
  • You grant Roscripters a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display the script on our platform.
  • Roscripters may remove or modify any script at any time if it is deemed to violate these terms.

Note on admin review: We periodically enable a review queue in which new scripts are manually checked by our admin team before becoming publicly visible. Uploaders will be notified via their inbox and directed to our Discord server for updates.

7. Disclaimer of Liability

Roscripters provides scripts "as-is" and makes no warranties about the safety, accuracy, or effectiveness of any script. We are not responsible for:

  • Any Roblox account bans or in-game penalties resulting from using scripts on our platform.
  • Damage caused by running third-party scripts on your device.
  • Disputes between users regarding script ownership or credits.
  • Data loss due to server or user error.

Use any script at your own risk. Always read the script code before executing it.

8. Intellectual Property (DMCA)

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on Roscripters infringes your copyright, please contact us with:

  • A description of the original copyrighted work.
  • The URL of the infringing content on our platform.
  • Your name, contact email, and a statement of good faith.
  • A statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright holder.

9. Premium Subscriptions

  • Premium features are available via a paid monthly or annual subscription.
  • Payments are processed securely and are non-refundable unless required by law.
  • We reserve the right to modify premium features or pricing with reasonable notice.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account at our sole discretion, including but not limited to violations of these Terms. Users who are terminated may not create a new account without express permission from staff.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We will notify you of major changes via a site banner or email.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of the Netherlands.
